Redbirds recap: Memphis loses to Gwinnett in 10-inning game
The Memphis Redbirds continued a six-game series against the Gwinnett Stripers, Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, with a 4-2 extra-inning loss on Thursday night at AutoZone Park.
First baseman Bligh Madris tied Game 3 of the series with a two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning that also scored center fielder Colton Ledbetter, who drew the first Memphis walk of the game to lead off the frame.
