One tournament changed the trajectory of Desmond Bane’s basketball career. He has been proving his doubters wrong ever since. 

Former Georgia Southern kicker Alex Raynor made 18-of-20 field goals and lead the Sun Belt Conference in scoring with 103 points this past season.

“Akeem is a very experienced USL defender that we are sure can come in on both ends of the pitch,” head coach Stephen Glass said in a statement. 

While Memphis lost some guys to the portal and graduation, the Tigers have brought in several transfers that include 11 former Power Five athletes.
