Memphis hit big by landing former University of Tennessee transfer punter Joe Doyle two years ago and is now bringing in another SEC transfer in former Arkansas punter Reid Bauer. 

The Tigers will have to turn things around ahead of their matchup with UCF in Orlando on Wednesday, Jan. 11.

The University of Memphis football program earned its second commitment of the day Tuesday, Jan. 10.

The annual induction ceremony will take place on Feb. 25 at the Penny Hardaway Hall of Fame building.

Ole Miss transfer and former Houston High School standout Jack Greer announced his commitment to Memphis on Twitter.

Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott successfully kicked five field goals, including a 54-yard and 52-yard attempt. He scored 16 points in the 22-16 win over the Dallas Cowboys. 

The first-year coach instills belief in a team that struggled to find many positives the previous two seasons.

DeAngelo Williams became the first Memphis football player elected to the College Football Hall of Fame. He’s the best Tiger player in the history of the school. But looking back, you know the stat that really stands out? He stayed at Memphis for four spectacular years. 

Jones is a backup point guard, one of the better ones in the NBA. But he conceives himself as more, the Grizzlies now pay him as more, and over the past couple of seasons he’s been playing that way. 

After falling behind in the fourth quarter, the Grizzlies had just enough left in the tank to take care of business against the rebuilding Spurs.
