Tigers Basketball Notebook: Memphis is now 31st in the nation with 9.1 steals per game as the Tigers begin sorting out a rotation after James Wiseman leaves.

They lose their cell phones. They eat at restaurants (well, many of them) and they go to the grocery store. If you play, coach or broadcast basketball for the Grizzlies for a living, you're still a regular human. Sometimes, though, fans forget that. 

The Grizzlies have struggled to hold leads, but Saturday night at FedExForum held on for a 119-115 victory over Sacramento as Jae Crowder scored 17 points with 10 rebounds and five assists.

While Memphis defeated Jackson State on Saturday, the family of a manager from the mid-1980s got back a prized possession.

James Wiseman's decision to leave Memphis will be much to his financial benefit and the detriment of the Tigers. 

James Wiseman, the Tigers' top prize of their No. 1 recruiting class, posted on Instagram Thursday that he has left the University of Memphis and will begin preparing for the NBA Draft. The Daily Memphian's photographers captured his short time as a Tiger as well as some of his time at East High School.

James Wiseman will sign with an agent and prepare for the NBA Draft, according to his Instagram account.
