High school state tournaments for basketball, baseball and softball will have a different look in Tennessee starting with the 2021-22 school year.

Millington High School's coach Jason Nichols faces a big challenge with the girls basketball team, which has not had a winning season since 2012-13.

The Daily Memphian was recently given one last tour of the property. 

Hopefully Ja Morant's spectacular performance in the playoff game is enough to hold Grizzlies fans over until next season, whenever that might be.

Veteran offensive line, good skill players and some quality defensive returnees make the Division 2-AA state champion dangerous again.

Memphis' triumph against the Bucks gave them a spot in the playoff play-in series against the Trail Blazers. It was the ending this unlikely regular season deserved.
