Overton Park 99 golf event raises more money, opportunities

Before anyone hit a golf ball early in the morning at the Overton Park 9 Golf Course on Monday, June 9, Will Frazier said he realized he had a tough act to follow.
Last year Frazier, 39, organized the inaugural “Overton Park 99.” The event had 15 golfers sign up to play Overton’s nine-hole golf course 11 times while walking and carrying their bags.
Not only did every player finish, but Chase Harris, a former University of Memphis golfer, broke the course record twice and had two hole-in-ones.
