Grizzlies president Jason Wexler on the NBA’s looming return
“There were so many different factors they had to deal with," said Jason Wexler, seen here in 2019, about the NBA. "So many that were even hard for us as an individual team to get clarity on. Given all that they were balancing, we think the structure they came up with and the Board of Governors approved sufficiently address what we had accomplished.” (Patrick Lantrip/Daily Memphian file)
The NBA’s Board of Governors approved the outline of a plan that will bring 22 teams to a Disney campus in Orlando next month for eight more regular-season games and a full-scale 16-team playoffs. Wexler appears satisfied.
