Mid-Summer Grizzlies Mailbag, Part 2: The rotation, trade talk and more

For the first half of this Mid-Summer Grizzlies Mailbag, I fielded questions mostly related to this basketball summer.

For this second part, we turn the page to questions about how this Grizzlies roster will be deployed in the coming season and — because we can never help it — even peek ahead to next February’s trade deadline.

Per usual, I got more good questions than I could answer even in a two-parter. As always, thanks to everyone who sent a question.

Rotation speculation

Coach Taylor Jenkins has historically deployed a 10-man rotation, though he seems to have become a little less wedded to that. But if this roster is at full health, which is the spirit of the question, I think Jenkins would have a hard time shrinking it down to nine.
