Second-year Memphis Grizzlies wing GG Jackson will make his season debut Monday, rejoining his NBA teammates just before the franchise’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day game.
Memphis plays host to Minnesota at FedExForum (1:30 p.m., FanDuel Southeast/TNT).
Jackson broke his fifth metatarsal in his right foot during offseason training and subsequently missed more than half of the Grizzlies’ current campaign.
As a rookie Jackson averaged 14.6 points and 4.1 rebounds per game, but he played very few minutes alongside the Grizzlies’ star backcourt.
Jackson is yet to log a single minute with superstar point guard Ja Morant.
