The Memphis Grizzlies made a swift move on Friday, firing head coach Taylor Jenkins just nine games before the conclusion of the regular season.
Memphis has been on a steady decline throughout 2025, slipping analytically on both offense and defense. The buy-in from the players appeared to be reaching a low point, especially as the team struggled against the tougher competition across the NBA.
