Cam Spencer plays like nobody wants him — because nobody did

“You found that?” Spencer asked. “On the internet? What was that website again?”
The lines were from a high school recruiting profile, not by a national service like 247Sports or On3. It was a self-created page that Spencer made when he was a junior in high school without a single college offer.
“I remember doing that,” Spencer said laughing. It was a surprising reaction given how frustrated he seemed to be after the Grizzlies’ loss to the Washington Wizards on Saturday night.
