Cedric Coward wasn’t going to spend his off day on Sunday the way that you might think.
He was going to go shopping — but not for some sort of flashy, luxury items or clothes that he can wear for tunnel photos on the walk into an arena.
Coward was going to Ashley Furniture. He was going to buy a couch.
Not for himself, but for his mom.
