The AM/DM podcast: Who’s on the Grizz’s new menu

The 2026 NBA Draft is over, and the Memphis Grizzlies have entered the official offseason with seven new players. 

The franchise selected Cameron Boozer and Karim Lopez in the first round of the draft, Richie Saunders in the second round, and then traded for Detroit Pistons center Isaiah Stewart. The Grizzlies also signed Michigan State center Carson Cooper to a two-way contract. 

Two more were added yesterday, as the team traded superstar Ja Morant

Three of the new players have nicknames that refer to food, which could provide an easy opportunity for a Grizzlies meal deal at FedExForum. 

But what does it all mean for the team and its chances?
