Jaylen Wells, Zach Edey and Jay Huff turned in strong performances as the Grizzlies rested several players in a preseason win over the Chicago Bulls.

At 7-foot-4, Memphis Grizzlies rookie Zach Edey is a big man who will play a big role. 

Extension or not, Santi Aldama and Brandon Clarke both could be crucial for the Grizzlies, especially early this season. 

“We are not sure of the timeline,” coach Taylor Jenkins said about Jaren Jackson Jr.’s injury. He also spoke about the integration of a new offensive scheme. 

“The league has had six different champions throughout the last six seasons. Who are these guys? Are they lucky No. 7? Are they the contender the city of Memphis is hoping for?”
