Ja Morant’s childhood friend, Davonte Pack, said during the deposition that the “fight” was minimal. 

Grizzlies general manager Zach Kleiman expects David Roddy, Jake LaRavia, Vince Williams Jr., Kenneth Lofton Jr., Jacob Gilyard and GG Jackson would be available for summer league play.

“Once Ja’s reintegrated into the team environment, he’s at the very least going to be able to participate in individual work, conditioning, medical. I think there’s further dialogue as to other things he potentially can be involved in.”

“I show my team clips of him playing defense all the time,” said Travis Ford, Marcus Smart’s coach at Oklahoma State. “His ability to guard so many different guys aside from his position and stay in front of people is amazing.”

The case revolves around an alleged fight during a pickup game at Ja Morant’s house.
