The Grizzlies rested a large chunk of their summer league roster on Tuesday in Salt Lake City, but they did play No. 59 pick Jahmai Mashack. 

GG Jackson II took ownership of his immaturity last year as he fell out of the rotation, but a coincidental encounter gave the Grizzlies wing a new focus. 

Jackson, Cam Spencer and Jaylen Wells all scored 20-plus points in the Grizzlies' second Salt Lake City Summer League game.

The Grizzlies got 40 combined points from GG Jackson and Jaylen Wells in a win over the Oklahoma City in Salt Lake City Summer League on Saturday.

The trade opened a roster space for Memphis to add size and physicality to its frontcourt depth. 

The roster features four non-rookie Grizzlies.

Memphis has been firm in its commitment to Jackson, and general manager Zach Kleiman noted the importance of an extension at the conclusion of the 2024-25 season.
