Former Memphis women’s basketball coach Mary Lou Johns is the program’s all-time winningest coach. She is the fifth all-time winningest NCAA Division I head coach in Tennessee women’s basketball history. (Courtesy University of Memphis Athletics)

Johns coached the women’s basketball team from 1972 to 1991 and three NCAA Tournament appearances.
