Memphis avoids meltdown loss, escapes UCF without Davis

Without injured Kendric Davis, the Tigers’ lead evaporated. With seven seconds left, Damaria Franklin played hero. The 6-foot-3 guard created a steal and then made the fastbreak layup that proved to be the difference.
