Memphis pulls away late in road win over Wichita State
Tigers guard Kendric Davis (3) and forward DeAndre Williams (12) (in a Feb. 12, 2023 photo from the Tigers’ game against Temple) combined for 37 points Thursday night in Wichita, Kansas. The game against the Shockers was Davis’ first game back since leaving Feb. 16 win over UCF with a right-ankle injury. (Patrick Lantrip/The Daily Memphian)
Memphis got bucket after bucket out of the gate but didn’t finish off pesky Wichita State until the final few minutes.
