When Moussa Cisse heard the word, he took offense.
Soft?
How dare anyone say Cisse is ‘soft’?
That’s what first went through the 6-foot-11 Guinea native’s head when, one week ago, the Mississippi State Bulldogs supposedly said the Memphis Tigers were soft before they walked out of FedExForum with a win that made coach Penny Hardaway’s team look bad.
Cisse looked for a place to take out his frustration, and that turned out to be Ole Miss. The Rebels ever paid for what Mississippi State supposedly said to Memphis.
