Tigers to cut capacity at FedExForum — and add sales tax
The University of Memphis will reduce seating capacity at FedExForum by 3,649 for men’s basketball games starting with the 2025-26 season. (The Daily Memphian file)
Although the department has historically covered the sales-tax cost for spectators, it is making this change ahead of the July 1 implementation of new NCAA rules allowing schools to share athletic department revenue with its athletes.
