Tigers coach Penny Hardaway wants ‘marquee’ games on schedule
“There are actually teams, like Baylor and Louisville, that want to play us,” Tigers basketball coach Penny Hardaway (middle) said Tuesday at Brookhaven Pub & Grill. “They see us as a team that they need to play early (in the season) to challenge their team, so that’s a huge compliment.” Softball coach Trena Prater is at left, and women’s basketball coach Alex Simmons is at right. Hardaway spoke to reporters Tuesday about the Tigers’ home-and-home scheduling agreement with Baylor, the addition of South Sudanese big man Simon Majok and more.
