Takeaways from Memphis’ exhibition game against Arkansas

From the time John Calipari hinted in May the scheduling of an exhibition game between his Arkansas Razorbacks and the Memphis Tigers was in the works, the conversation surrounding the matchup focused on everything but the game itself.

Main talking points centered on Calipari, who coached the Tigers for nine seasons from 2000 to 2009, facing his former team for the first time since his messy departure from the program in April 2009.
