Hardaway still unable to find the ‘fight’ as his Tigers head into critical stretch

Though Memphis’ regular season is well underway, Penny Hardaway is still searching.
Not for players in the NCAA transfer portal the way he did when he built a roster of 15 newcomers this offseason. Not for coaches to add to his staff or high-level opponents to add to the schedule, either.
After Memphis’ 92-78 loss to UNLV at FedExForum on Sunday night, rather, the coach is looking for something he deems much more valuable.
