AAC sets home and away pairings for Memphis basketball

Memphis basketball is one step closer to taking the floor with its historic No. 1 recruiting class.
Tuesday marked the announcement of the American Athletic Conference’s scheduling model and pairings for the upcoming 2019-20 season.
The Tigers will take on four of last season’s top-six AAC finishers inside FedExForum, and four of the conference’s elite on the road.
Home games include Houston, Cincinnati, UConn, Temple, Wichita State, USF, SMU, Tulane, and ECU.
The Tigers will travel to play Houston, UConn, Cincinnati, UCF, Wichita State, Tulsa, USF, SMU and Tulane.
The dates for each game were not released.
Every team in the conference plays seven of the 11 league opponents twice, and the other four schools once.
In addition, the AAC Tournament will move from FedExForum to Fort Worth, Texas and will remain there through 2022.

Hardaway has also discussed non-conference games against Oregon (Portland), NC State (Brooklyn), at Tennessee, Ole Miss and Georgia next season.
