If Memphis achieves the long-term goals coach Ryan Silverfield has envisioned for the program, then Feb. 3, 2021, could be a day Tigers fans remember for some time.
In his first full recruiting class, Silverfield and the rest of the staff accomplished a historic feat by reeling in the highest-rated football recruiting class in program history.
On 247Sports, the Tigers have the No. 46 class in the nation; on Rivals, the class currently sits at 45.
At the time this is written mid-afternoon Wednesday, 22 prospects had officially signed, and that doesn’t even include the commitments Silverfield landed from the transfer portal.
