Remembering the 2003 Tigers, the team that ended a 31-year drought

Memphis hadn’t qualified for a bowl game in three decades before the 2003 season. The Tigers won nine games, breathing life into the struggling program and catapulting it into what it is today.

He covered high school sports in Columbus, Indiana for two years before getting his Master’s degree in Sports Journalism at IUPUI. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in journalism from Indiana University.
