Memphis football is less than a month away from starting the 2024 season, and the Tigers have one of the best rosters in the American Athletic Conference. 

The roster features a strong mix of returnees, including a fourth-year starter at quarterback and a proven receiving corps, and newcomers.

The Daily Memphian projects the Tigers’ MVP, newcomers of the year and most improved players on both sides of the ball.

Frank Bonner is the Memphis Tigers football beat writer. He is originally from Indiana but arrived in Memphis after spending two years in Tulsa, covering Oklahoma State football and basketball. He covered high school sports in Columbus, Indiana for two years before getting his Master’s degree in Sports Journalism at IUPUI. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in journalism from Indiana University.
