The resurgence of Brandon Thomas

Memphis running back Brandon Thomas has been around so long that some of his teammates refer to him as “Unc.”
Thomas, who has been in the program since the 2020 season, is one of the old heads of the team.
“They walk around joking like, ‘Hey Unc,’” Thomas said of his teammates. “Don’t hit me with that one, but I got you. I’m older than y’all. This is probably one of my best years just giving advice to the younger guys and stuff like that. Actually seeing people in my shoes, that’s something I really enjoy.”
