BRENTWOOD, Tenn. — Sometimes what is said leaves more uncertainty than it brings clarity.

At a Tigers on Tour fan event stop earlier this summer, Memphis offensive coordinator Tim Cramsey said he and coach Ryan Silverfield won’t make a final call on their starting quarterback until a couple weeks before the 2025 season begins.
