Three games into the season, Memphis football has done its job.

And now comes Arkansas.

The Tigers beat Troy, 28-7, to move themselves to 3-0 and set up a meeting with Arkansas in Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. If the Razorbacks win Saturday night — Arkansas plays Ole Miss with the Rebels on their backup quarterback —it’ll be a matchup of unbeatens.

Saturday wasn’t flashy for the Tigers. But like the first two games of their season, it was a workmanlike effort against inferior opposition.
