Saturday was a chance for the Memphis Tigers to prove they were a better team than what appeared in Birmingham, Alabama, a week ago, and they answered the call.
The Tigers suffered a disappointing loss at UAB a week before taking on No. 18 South Florida in front of 30,940 fans at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium.
