Where might Memphis football go bowling this season?

The Memphis Tigers have one regular-season game remaining, a Thanksgiving showdown against Navy on Nov. 27. 

The Tigers were slotted as a No. 12 seed in the first official projections of the College Football Playoff bracket, released a few weeks ago. But back-to-back losses to Tulane and East Carolina have removed Memphis from any playoff talks and postseason conversation surrounding the Tigers has shifted toward non-playoff bowl projections.
