As the season begins Saturday, the AP’s national college-football writer also picked Ole Miss and Tennessee to reach the College Football Playoff.

Where does this season rank among most important years in Memphis football? Did the Coaches Poll or the Associated Press Poll get it right in ranking the Tigers against other Group of Five teams?
