How a tiny Texas bowl came up big with the No. 25 Memphis Tigers
The Frisco Bowl checked all the right boxes for the University of Memphis: a Big 12 opponent in a pre-Christmas game in a warm climate that’s a reasonable drive for fans.
The bonus? Frisco, Texas is just a short drive from quarterback Seth Henigan’s hometown of Denton.
