Bartlett: McDonald, Elliott win re-election in only contested races on Bartlett ballot

Bartlett incumbent Mayor Keith McDonald and Position 2 Alderwoman Emily Elliott were returned to office Tuesday with easy victories in the suburb’s municipal election.

McDonald easily defeated challenger John Lackey. Meanwhile, Elliott defeated Mitch Arnold to win her sixth term on the Board of Mayor and Aldermen.

Four other incumbents on the Bartlett ballot were unopposed in their re-election campaigns. Aldermen W.C. “Bubba” Pleasant in Position 1 and Position 3 Alderman David Parsons returned to office, along with school board members Erin Berry and Bryan Woodruff.

Alderwoman Emily Elliott was elected to her sixth term in the Tuesday, Nov. 6 municipal election. An incorrect number of terms was reported in a previous version of this story.
