DeSoto’s dug-in details: Landers expansion progress

The DeSoto County Board of Supervisors approved an estimated $14 million package for concrete foundations and steel at the Landers Center, making this the third major bid package for the $88 million project.
The 275,000-square-foot addition will include a new space for the DeSoto Family Theater and connect to a new seven-story, 240-room Embassy Suites by Hilton Hotel.
