Renovation plans for Cherry Valley Park in Southaven are underway with a focus on revitalizing the aging green space and addressing long-standing security concerns.
Mayor Darren Musselwhite confirmed the city’s commitment to the project, highlighting the need to adapt the park’s purpose to evolving community interests.
The park, west of U.S. 51 off Dorchester Drive, has undergone several transformations over the years. However, following the construction of Snowden Grove Park, Cherry Valley Park was designated exclusively for football.
