Hernando plans to use AI at City Hall

Hernando’s Board of Aldermen approved a contract Tuesday night, Sept. 15, with artificial intelligence company Polimorphic to automate calls to City Hall and provide a better system for public works requests.
The New York-based company, which works with local and state governments nationally, will implement its program in a phased approach with the city. Ben Busching, Polimorphic senior account executive, gave a presentation on the program to the board Tuesday night.
The phased approach means, in time, the city could implement it in more ways to address more needs.
