Male supervisors sexually harassed jail employees, suit alleges
A lawsuit alleging Shelby County displayed a “pattern and practice of failing to address sexual harassment complaints about higher-ranking male employees” was filed by a woman who says she was sexually harassed while working at the Shelby County Justice Center at 201 Poplar Ave. (The Daily Memphian file)
“I believe it was happening long before this, it’s still happening and it appears it is going to happen into the future because nobody appears to be willing to take responsibility,” said attorney Sue Palmer, speaking of the alleged harassment.
