Bailey: If Buc-ee’s is coming, I guess I’ll have to get in line

Clay Bailey, a lifelong Memphian, has worked as a reporter in the city four decades. He concentrated on suburban coverage for the bulk of his career, except for a stint as sports editor of The Daily Memphian when it launched in September 2018. The first Buc-ee’s in West Tennessee could be headed to the Gallaway exit of Interstate 40, close enough to make a run for some brisket, jerky and sparkling restrooms.
