Meet the MSCS senior leadership team
Members of the Memphis-Shelby County Schools cabinet are recognized at the event celebrating Superintendent Marie Feagins' first 100 days Wednesday, July 10. (Angel Ortez/MSCS Communications).
Memphis-Shelby County Schools Superintendent Marie Feagins’ leadership team is significantly different from the cabinets of previous Memphis-Shelby County Schools administrations.
Now 100 days in to her role, she has filled eight of 10 senior leadership positions, hiring internal candidates for five of those roles.
Her administrative team is smaller than her recent MSCS predecessors. The restructure also removes some positions found in similarly sized districts.
