Juco ruling gives Memphis tight end an extra year with the Tigers
After a breakout 2024 season that helped the Memphis Tigers to an 11-2 record, Anthony Landphere had everything lined up in preparation for the 2025 NFL Draft.
Landphere, a 6-foot-5, 250-pound tight end, selected an agent he planned to sign with, and he expected to train at a facility in Colorado.
As many athletes do after exhausting their college eligibility, Landphere posted his official declaration for the draft on social media.
However, a few hours later, Landphere got a call that altered everything he thought he knew about his immediate future.
