Former Memphis basketball star explains why his number isn’t retired

Former Memphis basketball standout Chris Douglas-Roberts put as much of the spotlight as possible on others while being inducted into the M Club Hall of Fame on Saturday.
Honoring his teammates is so important to Douglas-Roberts that he even declined to have his No. 14 retired years ago because he wanted the entire team to be recognized.
He was one of five former athletes honored Saturday night.
