The University of Tennessee Health Science Center is helping its research teams navigate uncertainty caused by changes in the federal funding that’s long supported its work.
“Like many other institutions, we are always balancing the need to keep our life-changing research moving forward with the need to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines,” said Dr. Jessica Snowden, UTHSC vice chancellor for research.
UTHSC has ongoing studies in numerous areas, including neuroscience, cancer, cardiovascular disease, inflammation and addictions.
