Women in the Arts speakers have a word of advice: Stay ready

“If you stay ready, you don’t have to get ready,” said Lakeisha Edwards, executive director of the UrbanArt Commission during a panel discussion at the Dixon Gallery and Gardens during the fifth annual Women in the Arts event Saturday, March 8 which is also International Women’s Day. 

Being ready was the theme for the day.
