Connection through watercolor: How a mother and daughter’s journey blended
The “New Works by Marion Malone and Alicja Trout” exhibit comes from a mother and daughter duo. Malone, left, and Trout, right, both attended Fred Rawlinson watercolor classes. (Patrick Lantrip/The Daily Memphian)
For mother and daughter Marion Malone and Alicja Trout, watercolor painting has become more than a creative outlet — it is a shared language, a bridge between generations and a way to capture the beauty of solitude and nature.
Their exhibition, “New Works by Marion Malone and Alicja Trout,” is now on view at the Lois Estes Ruleman Gallery of Art at Church Health through April 28.
