Memphis Tigers guard PJ Haggerty climbed the ladder under the basket at FedExForum when it was time to cut down the nets following the teams’ outright American Athletic Conference championship.
Recognizing the opportunity, the crowd echoed what it had already chanted in the star’s direction during Memphis’ win over South Florida.
“One more year!” they roared at the sophomore. “One more year!”
