After a saga that spanned more than 13 months during the first go-around, there’s a chance Mikey Williams will be a Memphis Tiger after all.
Williams, a 6-foot-3 combo guard and UCF transfer who was once signed to Memphis, might choose to continue his college career for Coach Penny Hardaway’s Tigers, according to a report Wednesday afternoon from On3’s Pete Nakos.
Williams, a four-star prospect in the 2023 class, averaged 5.1 points and 1.9 rebounds in 14 minutes per game through 18 games for the Knights this past season.
