Around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, a homeowner in the Parkway Village area surprised two thieves who were trying to steal his daughterโs Hyundai from his driveway.
One of the thieves, wearing a black hoodie and white face mask, pulled a pistol and fired 13 shots at the homeowner. The second thief, dressed the same, then jumped out of the car and fired three more shots at the terrified victim before running away.
The victim then pulled out his own pistol and fired at least 18 shots at the suspects, missing them both. However, he did manage to shoot up both his daughterโs car and his nephewโs car parked nearby, causing an estimated $16,000 in damages.
